Why
a Schools project?
The Airborne Museum 'Hartenstein' presents the Battle of Arnhem
in all its aspects. A visit to the Museum brings to life the events
of September 1944. Experience has shown that the Museum is at the
same time informative and impressive but that it can also be overwhelming.
In that last respect some guidance of the children is called for. Through the years we have come to the conclusion that the multitude
of impressions should be portioned and put into perspective. For
that reason an educationally and historically sound Schools project
has been developed by the Museum in cooperation with many others.
