PROGRAMMES MADE TO MEASURE

Give history an extra dimension with a visit to the Airborne Museum, where students are asked to do something different, far away from books and classrooms. We give them all the space they need to carry out research that is inspired by a unique museum.

The Airborne Museum offers many educational projects for both primary and secondary school students. We show them that the big picture of the history of the war is made up of innumerable pixels, and that each one of them is a personal story. By experiencing, feeling, seeing and touching, children begin to really understand what war means. They discover a world that they only vaguely knew about from playing games or watching war films.

The heart of the exhibition is the Airborne Experience: an underground simulation of what it was like to be part of the Battle of Arnhem. Here, students actually experience the reality of 1944.
