Collection
| By means of a film presentation and a lit up map the course of the battle is set out. Next, a large number of photographs, videofilms with footage of the battle, authentic uniforms, equipment, weapons and other objects present a picture, both from the Allied and from the German point of view, of the combat in Arnhem and Oosterbeek. |
Diorama's Airborne Museum 'Hartenstein'
|
In the basement
five dioramas with sound effects depict scenes of the Septemberdays in 1944, such as the
march through Oosterbeek, an artillery position near the Old Church in Oosterbeek and the
British Headquarters in Hotel Hartenstein.
Every year the Museum has a different exposition on some specific
aspect of the
Battle. |
