Friday 12 September  

09.00: Arrival on Eindhoven Airport.

10.00: Departure battlefield tour Market Garden.

12.00 - 13.00: Lunch.

13.00 – 17.00: Battlefield tour and opening ceremony of the Liberation Route by the Majors of Arnhem, Nijmegen, Groesbeek and Renkum. The Guild Conference will be special guests.

18.00: Dinner in hotel Nol in ‘t Bosch in Renkum.

19.00 – 22.00: Commemoration of the escape operation Pegasus I and II, walking part of the route to the Rhine with re-enactment. The Guild conference will be special Guests.

22.30: Arrival hotel Haarhuis in Arnhem.

Change of the afternoon and evening programme is possible. 

 

Saturday 13 September 

07.30 – 08.30: Breakfast.

08.45 – 09.30: Lecture.

09.30 – 10.15: Lecture.

10.15 – 10.30: Pause.

10.30 – 12.30: Lecture.

12.30 – 13.30: Lunch.

13.45 – 17.00: Walking Battlefield tour “The lost battle” September 19th, 1944.

The battle for the Rhine bridge of 1st, 3rd, 11th Battalion The Parachute Regiment and 2nd Battalion The South Staffordshire Regiment at Onderlangs and Utrechtsestraat in Arnhem.  

19.00 – 23.30: Dinner with Social Evening in Arnhem.

Sunday 14 September

 

07.30 – 08.15: Breakfast.

08.45 – 11.00: Visit Airborne Museum “Hartenstein”.

11.00 – 12.00: Laying a wreath at the Arnhem-Oosterbeek War Cemetery.

12.00 – 13.00: Lunch at restaurant Schoonoord in Oosterbeek (Main Dressing Station).

13.00 – 14.00: Pick up luggage from hotel Haarhuis.

14.00 – 16.00: Tour “The 1st Polish Independent Parachute Brigade Group”.

17.00: Arrival at Eindhoven Airport. Option: Dinner (own costs.)

19.00: Departure from Eindhoven Airport.
